Thanksgiving Rituals

            Hello, everyone, and welcome to Foursaken Feature. Let me be the first to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Today I have a number of Thanksgiving-related rituals for you. (For those of you wondering what happened to the fae sorcerer, we’ll be finishing that up next week, so be sure to tune in then)

Heroes’ Feast
A scrumptious banquet appears from nothingness, nearly as nourishing and restorative as it is tantalizing and delicious.

Time: 10 minutes                    Key Skill: Nature (no check)
Duration: 24 hours

            You create a delicious feast, comprised of whatever kind of food you can imagine, as long as the total cost of the food doesn’t exceed 100 gp. The food is hot (or whatever temperature it is best served at) when created, and is always cooked and seasoned expertly, as though prepared by a master chef. The ritual creates enough food for a dozen people. Once created, the food is not magically preserved, and goes bad at the normal rate for food of its kind.

            Though not magically preserved, the food does have magical properties, and any creature which consumes a full share of the food immediately regains a healing surge. No character can regain more than a single healing surge from this ritual each day.

Pact of Return
You and a number of your friends and allies create a pact to return to your location at a specific time in the future.
Level: 13                                 Component Cost: 1,500 gp

Time: 10 minutes                    Key Skill: Arcana (no check)
Duration: Up to 1 year

            You, and at least one but no more than six willing allies, make a pact and agree to return to your current location at a specific time in the future. This time can be any time in the future, but no more than 1 year from the time the ritual is cast. The time must be an actual time, and cannot be triggered by a specific event (for example, “in three hours” would be acceptable, but “after the harvest festival is over” would not).

            When the specified time arrives, each person who was part of the pact is magically transported back to the specified location, as though with the ritual linked portal.

Zone of Friendship
You create a shimmering, circular zone in which creatures are more friendly to each other, and peace and reason rule the day.

Time: 1 hour                           Key Skill: Arcana
Duration: 24 hours

            You create a circular zone which promotes peace and friendship. The zone has a 50-foot radius, and its barrier is invisible to creatures who can’t see magical energies. Within the zone, all Diplomacy checks gain a bonus equal to your Arcana check divided by 5. Additionally, creatures whose Will defense is less than your Arcana check can’t make attacks while within the zone. While within the zone, creatures are aware whether or not they can make attacks.
