Foursaken Feature Archive

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Azata Week Foursaken Feature. Of course, as you may be aware, that’s a bit of a misnomer, because 4th edition doesn’t have azatas—they’re found in Pathfinder only. On the other hand, azatas’ ancestors, the eladrin, are very prominent in 4th edition, and most of the creatures that Pathfinder players would consider an azata pop up as high-level eladrin NPCs in the Monster Manual. So, what, precisely, would one write a Foursaken Feature about? Rather than leave you in suspense, allow me to introduce you to the Bralani Windmaster paragon path.

Bralani Windmaster
I am an incarnation of the tempests and winds themselves. I don’t just channel the storm: I am the storm.

Prerequisite: Eladrin

You are able to tap into the primal, fey nature of your race, and harness the powers of the winds. The gales and tempests call out to you, urging you to let go and roar with the same passion and primal energy as the very elements. Letting loose in this way makes you feel more alive than ever, and gives you a rush that only one with your heritage can understand.
Still, you must be wary not to lose yourself entirely in the heart of the storm, lest you wind up unable to find your way back, and become just another fey storm.

Bralani Windmaster Path Features

Gale Attack (11th level): Once per encounter, when you successfully hit a target with a power, you may push that target up to three squares.

Stormy Action (11th level): Whenever you use an action point, you may summon a blast of wind which ushers out from you in all directions, pushing all creatures within three squares of you one square away.

Raging Gale (16th level): Whenever you use your gale attack path feature, the target is also knocked prone at the end of the movement.
