Foursaken Feature Archive

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another exciting edition of Foursaken Feature, where we produce new fourth edition content with the aim of improving your fourth edition game.  It’s currently Doppelganger Week here at Necromancers of the Northwest, and thus today’s article will be in celebration of those greatest of shape-shifters.  In the spirit of that celebration, I have a new paragon path for you to enjoy.

Man of Many Faces
“I have worn so many masks that I no longer remember who I was.  I do not mourn my forgotten past, for I have liberated myself from the confines of a single identity.  Now I change my personage as easily as others change their clothes, adopting a new form and background to achieve my goals or satisfy my whims.”

Prerequisites: Trained in Bluff, Skill Focus (Bluff)

You are an experienced disguise artist; rarely do you appear as the same person twice and you doubt there are three people alive who know the “real” you.  When you need to disappear, you don’t flee or search for shadows to hide in, you simply stop being whoever you are and move on as someone else.  By understanding the lore of the doppelganger and undertaking an obscure training regiment, you have taken your not inconsiderable talent for disguise to supernatural heights.

Man of Many Faces Path Features
Change Shape (11th): You can use change shape as an at-will power.

Action of Many Faces (11th): You may spend an action point to automatically succeed on a Bluff check rather than take an extra action.

Master of Deceit (16th): Roll twice whenever you make a Bluff check; use whichever roll you prefer.

Man of Many Faces Exploits
