Drill Spear
A drill spear is a large adamantine drill attached to the end of a 7’ long metal pole. The drill is about 1’ long and is 1’ at its widest point. The drill spins so fast that it is able to pierce through even the most powerful defenses: while the drill is active the drill spear allows you to bypass up to 10 points of DR and ignore hardness less than 30 (instead of the normal 20). After charging up the drill for 1 round, it is able to dismantle armor on its first successful attack of the next round. This functions exactly like the dismantle armor ability that the bebilith possesses.

As a full-round action you can drill a hole into a stationary object; the hole is 1’ deep (per round spent drilling, max of 7’) and 1’ wide. This action provokes attacks of opportunity. You ignore hardness less than 30.

The price listed is for a +1 adamantine drill spear.

Shield Drill
This massive iron shield has a large adamantine drill mounted on it. The drill is 1’ long and is 1’ at its widest point. While the drill is being spun the shield drill allows you to bypass up 5 points of DR and ignore hardness less than 25 instead of the normal 20.

As a full-round action you can drill a hole into a stationary object; the hole is up to 1’ deep and 1’ wide. This action provokes attacks of opportunity.   You ignore hardness less than 25.

When employing a shield drill in combat, you take a –2 penalty on attack rolls because of the shield's encumbrance. It grants +4 shield bonus to AC while you aren’t attacking with it.

The price listed is for an adamantine shield drill
